How it Feels (through Google Glass)

Watch and see how it feels like to be behind the Google Glass

Google Glass

The idea of the Google Glass was developed by Google, and it provides us with the vision of a new future from ordinary glasses. The Glass is a headset that combines the functions of a smartphone together with a normal spectacles. The Glass uses augmented reality to display information over the user’s normal field of vision. It has a small prism attached to the upper corner of the Glass that provides for a hands-free screen such that users have constant access to these information - texts, calls, emails, notifications and navigations - and to capture images and record videos on-the-go. There is also a touchpad on the side of the Glass for users to tap or swipe and navigate.

Google has looked beyond functionality and onto the aesthetics factor of the Glass to ensure that the wearable technology will remain appealing to the public. The Glass comes in different colours. New designs of Glass frames and shades have also been designed to suit various preferences of consumers. These popular eyewear designs cater to the different lifestyles and interests of users, which makes the Glass more personalized for every user. Additionally, the Glass is made to be compatible with prescription lenses and still wearable for those who wear prescription glasses.
